Run-up to Christmas:
My Mum loved this little chap beyond all reason, so every year he comes down from the loft, I put fresh batteries in, he's played with for a few days, and is then put back into hibernation. At this rate I reckon he'll last until I'm 92 as well:

Somewhat less traditional 'day after Boxing Day' lunch - Amanda puts pigs in blankets in marmalade sandwiches:
